We at HEM operate with the belief that the future of our children is the responsibility of each one of us. With a little help and support from you, we can give these children love, security, and an opportunity to shape their own future. Sponsorship program makes it possible for a family or an individual to sponsor the cost of education for one underprivileged child in India. The program aims to support a child financially till he completes college or vocational education. Is sponsorship a monthly giving commitment? Yes, Sponsorship is a monthly giving program to help kids in poverty. Sponsoring a child in need gives him/her a way to break the cycle of poverty, creating a ripple effect for generations. You can become a sponsor for as little as 1400Rs a month. 1400Rs a month will help provide life-changing benefits for kids.
If you do not wish to support our work through sponsorship you may give us a general donation. HEM is a non-profit organization and works completely on donations hence your support becomes much more valuable.
Support us meeting day-to-day ration requirements of the Ashray Children’s home.
One good way to help us out is to donate goods to our kids. You can try getting together with a group of friends or colleagues and collect either new or second hand clothes, books, toys, pencils, craft suppliers, shoes…etc. and then bundle them up in a parcel to us.

HEM would not be where we are now without the incalculable support that we’ve received from tens of volunteers over the years. Many have contributed their time and skills to the unforgettable experience of teaching and igniting underprivileged kids.
If you are interested to have exposure and want to serve orphans, youths or women you can come for few days, weeks or even months and stay with. While you are with us your role will be tailored around your skills and availability.

At Ashray Children’s home, last Friday of the month is a special day because on this day we celebrate birthdays of all the kids who have their birthdays in that particular month. We cut the cake and cook special food. You can sponsor this meal and share our joy!
You can also share your joy on a day that is special to you (e.g. your Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Memory day etc.) by sponsoring their meals for that day. You may also make contributions in cash or kind like blankets, curtains, clothes, toys etc.
